Welcome to the Bitwig office in the TIB/BIG (Technologie und Innovationspark Berlin)

office
And ta-taaaan… this is our digital love nest! As you can see we received lots of boxes with hardware inside, we call them “apparatti”

claes
Claes is building machines…

nick
Nick too…

keep_out
Oh, boy.. careful with the static. Claes told me to stay away, I’m like a cat :-)

chair
This is the bouncing-funky-wig chair which keeps our backs strong and healthy

volker
Volker is highly concentrated in the arts of “Stachenblocken” and enjoying some coffee.

pablo
That’s me, dealing with some pixels..

cables
Why cables, always cables?

bbq
Our futuristic BBQ apparat can’t wait to hear the sound of some hot, smokey “Wuerste”.

dvorak_keyboard
Achtung! This is Nick’s Dvorak Keyboard, a real space oddity.

dvorak_keyboard_02
As you can see, that layout can change all your brain routings..

oscilloscope
This is Claes’ personal machine used to measure the amount of “audio-thetans” you could have inside. We performed a test on all of us..

oscilloscope_result
and we all had the same result.. Ehm.. well.. the machine doesn’t seem to be working properly

How do you make a picture not look like a passport picture?
Very simple: just add a wig.

Video-interview with Volker (in german)

March 10th, 2009 by Claes

The guys at IT-Gipfelblog managed to get a video interview with Volker, our resident German who really comes in handy in times such as these (the rest of the team have yet to perfect our virtuosity in this beautiful language. volker told me to say that and I’m easily corrupted).

binary-punks are clearly having their eyes on us…

… as we’re apparently building some kind of car and/or sequencer.

The wigs at CeBIT

On thursday we were in Hannover to pick up an award from the German startup competition Gründerwettbewerb Multimedia, as we were one of the three lucky first-prize winners!

A big thank you to all you German tax payers & “ämte” out there, we will make sure to put the money to good by making the world more beautiful sounding.

winners

Those guys are obviously winners...
