Iterate

Andrei Olenev is a music producer from Northern California, currently making music under the name Iterate.
Andrei has been a staple of the west coast bass music/ glitch hop sound for the last 15 years.  Under his previous monikers, Andreilien and Heyoka, he toured extensively to festivals and clubs around the world, including Burning Man, Symbiosis, Boom Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, Envision, Sonic Bloom, Earthfreq and Shambhala. Over the years, Andrei has had an evolving sound with a unique twist, drawing influence from various genres without confining himself to any particular one.  His current project, Iterate, emerged after he took time from touring to change his production process and develop his sound in a new direction. He switched DAWs to Bitwig Studio and created a collection of custom patches in The Grid geared towards glitch production, many of which take influence from hardware groove boxes and trackers. Andrei is continuing his musical evolution with a focus on hip hop beats, breaks, deep bass, intricate glitch edits, and psychedelic sound design. 
Andrei teaches music production and has a growing online collection of tutorials on Bitwig Studio, especially The Grid. His English language lessons are geared toward producers who are looking to learn specific techniques for music production and sound design at any level.
