His musical journey began in China with classical piano lessons, building a strong foundation before discovering a passion for blues and jazz as a teenager. Mingze later refined his craft at the Conservatory of the University of Münster, where he explored a range of genres, including hip hop, house, techno, jazz, and funk.
As a teacher, Mingze emphasizes hands-on learning, guiding students through practical projects to develop their skills and unique voices. His philosophy—“You only learn it by doing it yourself”—encourages creativity and confidence in sound design, keyboard playing, and music production.
Central to Mingze’s process is Bitwig Studio, whose innovative tools enable him to experiment freely, turning inspiration into reality. Whether arranging intricate soundscapes or delivering polished mixes, Mingze brings a thoughtful balance of technical skill and emotional expression to his work.
