Amsterdam Dance Event 2023, Here We Come

We're participating in this year's edition of Amsterdam Dance Event, one of the world's biggest gatherings for electronic dance music and its industry. It's all happening in the Dutch capital between October 18-22, 2023. Come by our ADE booth in the ADE Lab to catch up on what's new in Bitwig Studio, and we'll show you how you can use our software to make, record, remix and perform music. 

We're also hosting a two-part workshop at Hed Palais on Friday, October 20. Part one features a general overview of making music with DAWs from two Bitwig team members, followed by a masterclass with techno producer and Bitwig Certified Trainer Secret Cinema. See below for more details.

DAW Music Production for Beginners (13:00: - 13:45)
Bitwig's Elissa Smith and Mea Liedl will introduce the basics of making music with all-in-one software programs like Bitwig Studio. They'll introduce the fundamental concepts and workflow for making songs in a digital audio workstation, from using instruments and FX to writing clips and arranging a track.

Let the DAW work for you: A Masterclass with Secret Cinema (13:45 - 14:30)
Techno producer and Bitwig Certified Trainer Secret Cinema will share tips for designing unique sounds for your productions and demonstrate his process. He'll show  you how he goes about making a track from scratch by designing sounds, programming a beat and adding melodic parts. Learn to harness the power of Bitwig Studio’s modulation system and gain insight into this experienced artist's approach to music production.
