Orchestral Percussion

Craft dramatic hits and stately rhythms with Orchestral Percussion, a collection of world-class recordings optimized for Bitwig Studio’s Sampler. Seven presets cover the full range of percussion instruments, including bass drum, snare, and other drums; richly textured cymbals and gongs; vibrant percussion such as claves and shakers; and a timpani spanning two full octaves. Each instrument was recorded with the finest musicians on Berlin’s legendary Teldex Scoring Stage, complete with gorgeous natural reverb. The package includes single hits – with round robins and multiple velocity layers for lifelike expression – as well as dynamic rolls and crescendos. Three additional Drum Machine presets make these samples easy and comfortable to play on controllers with drum pads.

Launch Bitwig Studio and open the Dashboard (by clicking the Bitwig icon at the top of the window). Select the Packages tab, click on Partners, then click the Install button next to “Orchestral Percussion."

Orchestral Percussion is out now. It is a free sound package for anyone with an active Bitwig Studio Upgrade Plan.
