Cubase 14 Now Supports DAWProject

Steinberg has announced that DAWproject files will be supported in its latest version, Cubase 14. DAWproject is a free and open exchange file format Bitwig spearheaded with Presonus in 2023 to make it easier to share files between programs.

It allows you to export your projects in one DAW and import and open them in another, preserving the whole project structure, including clips, tracks, channels, groups, audio, notes, automation data, and even the state of third-party plug-ins. This saves considerable time and effort spent bouncing audio stems for each track in their project.

The integrated DAWproject support in Cubase is a huge step that benefits customers who work across multiple DAWs or collaborate with people who use different programs. DAWproject is currently supported by Cubase, Bitwig Studio, and Studio One.
